DBT Skills Group and Therapy Groups for Adults

  • Adult DBT Skills Groups

    We currently run two groups occurring Tuesdays 3-5pm and Thursdays 6-8pm. These groups are adherent DBT Skills Groups based on Marsha Linehan’s DBT Skills Training curriculum. The groups are offered virtually and in-person (hybrid model). Admission to this group is open and participants will work with their individual therapist to determine a group start date. Admission to this group depends on attending weekly individual therapy with a DBT therapist who also offers 24-hour phone coaching and attends weekly DBT consultation meetings.

  • Adult DBT Graduate Group

    This is a closed group and occurs every other Wednesday evening for 10 total sessions. For individuals living in MN who have graduated from DBT Skills Group (DBT Stage 1) and want to join others with a common goal of maintenance and continued improvement of life skills. Includes more in-depth coverage of supplemental learning materials in Marsha Linehan’s DBT Skills Manual, including Loving Kindness, Acceptance, Dialectics, and Middle Path. This is a time-limited virtual group and will run for 10 sessions total. Initial assessment is required. Private pay, MA, UCare, Health Partners, Cigna, Aetna, BCBS, Medicare, Optum, Medica, Preferred One, UBH, and UHC accepted. Facilitated by Kristin Bunge, MA, LPCC.
